Europe Trip - Oslo, Norway

We docked in Oslo, next to the Akershus Castle & Fortress on the morning of Sunday July 1.  Oslo overlooks a gorgeous fjord and is filled with many different maritime museums, reflecting its heritage of being a sea faring nation, including the Viking Ships Museum, FRAM (arctic explorer) and the Kon-Tiki Museum.  Because it was a Sunday, quite a bit was closed, however, we took a city tour of Oslo that included many interesting sights.  Unfortunately the weather was damp and rainy.

We only had 1/2 a day in Oslo;  I would like to go back and spend more time there.  Lots to see and it is a very attractive city.   On departing Oslo, the ship sailed through the archepelago, very scenic.
